Activity 2: Watch TV for homework! (Commerce)

1. PLAY the video segment

In the video, Sophie and Tye are watching TV and an advertisement about great computer deals comes on.

Sophie is convinced she should buy one of the computer packages advertised.

 

2. WATCH TV advertisements and choose three to comment on. Use this table – you can find it in the PDF Watch TV for homework!

4. WRITE a brand name and slogans that you think would be effective in selling the following products to young people:

5. FIND some examples of advertisements from various media, such as billboards, magazines, radio, newspaper, fliers and so on. Use the table below to describe the elements in each ad. You can find the table in the PDF Watch TV for homework!
