Activity 4: Producing advertisements (English)
1. PLAY the video segment
|
In the video, Sophie and Tye are watching TV and an advertisement about great computer deals comes on.
Sophie is convinced she should buy one of the computer packages advertised.
Advertising can provide information on products and services but it can also influence what we want to buy. |
|
2. You are going to work in groups to prepare an advertisement for a mobile phone package. GO to the Money Stuff Challenge area that takes you through the issues and decisions you need to make to buy a mobile phone. The Just the Facts area of the website contains information on all aspects of buying a mobile phone, and the glossary will help with technical terms.
3. SUMMARISE the planning for your advertisement in a table like the one below. You can find this table in the PDF Producing advertisements.
