2009 Money Stuff! Competition

The 2009 Money Stuff! Competition is now open to all high school students in NSW!

Take the challenge and be in the running to win cash prizes for you and your school. The total prize pool is $16,000. There are four categories in all:

      Sydney metropolitan schools Years 7-9
      Sydney metropolitan schools Years 10-12
      NSW regional schools Years 7-9
      NSW regional schools Years 10-12

The winners in each category will score $2,000 for their school and $200 for themselves. Team entries will win $200 for each student, up to a maximum of four team members.

This year, all highly commended entries will also be rewarded with $1,000 for their school and $50 for each student. Team entries will win $50 for each student, up to a maximum of four team members.

To find out how to enter, simply click on the competition details below. Information about the competition has also been sent to your commerce teacher or your HSIE teacher, so if you want to enter you should pester them to register!

There is plenty of time to get your entry together. All entries must be received by Friday 4 September 2009.

The winning entries will be posted on the Money Stuff! website for everyone to admire. All participants in the competition receive a special Money Stuff! certificate.

Don't forget to send us an entry form together with your entry. You can either fill in the online entry form below or print the PDF version and handwrite your details.   

 

Teachers

Every year in May we encourage you to register your students prior to suppying their entries. Tell us how many of your students will be entering the competition and we will send you some incentives to give away free. You can either fill in the online pre-registration form below or print the PDF version and fax it back to us with your details.

Remember, the registration form is not the same as the entry form. Each student entry must be accompanied by a copy of the completed entry form.

Congratulations to all the winners of the 2008 Money Stuff competition. The NSW Minister for Fair Trading, Virginia Judge, announced the winners at a Youth Forum in Sydney on November 17.
