Car buying in NSW

On 30 January 2012, REVS was replaced by the Personal Property Security Register (PPSR). PPSR is a national register for recording security interest (eg: encumbrances or debts) in personal property (eg: motor vehicles). Visit the website at www.ppsr.gov.au for more infromation.

Roads & Maritime Services (previously known as RTA) website includes information on road safety, car registration, licences and the proof of age cards. www.rms.nsw.gov.au

The Motor Accidents Authority (MAA) website provides information on Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance for cars and bikes. www.maa.nsw.gov.au

MoneySmart Teaching was created by ASIC to support schools that want to include consumer and financial literacy programs in their curriculum.
